Link Building Specialist

At Rankings.io, we specialize in aggressive growth strategies for law firms through cutting-edge search engine marketing. We're seeking a motivated Link Building Specialist to join our team and support the development and execution of high-quality, off-site SEO strategies. In this role, you'll work closely with the Link Building Manager to build authoritative backlinks, develop linkable assets, manage guest posting, and lead targeted outreach campaigns to grow our clients' online visibility and domain authority. Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze competitor backlink profiles to discover high-value linking opportunities
• Execute off-site SEO strategies, including guest post outreach, local backlink acquisition, and citation building
• Build and manage relationships with webmasters and site owners for placement opportunities
• Conduct outreach via email and social platforms to secure links on relevant, authoritative websites
• Audit client backlink profiles using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools to identify gaps or harmful links
• Optimize and review content for relevancy, user intent, and SEO best practices
• Monitor, report, and track outreach progress and acquired backlinks
• Audit vendor deliverables for quality and alignment with campaign goals
• Proactively flag issues or trends to the Link Building Manager to improve strategy

Requirements

• Solid understanding of SEO principles, with specific expertise in off-site SEO and link acquisition
• Proven experience managing and executing outreach campaigns in an agency or in-house setting
• Comfortable using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console
• Ability to craft compelling outreach messages that earn responses and placements
• Familiarity with SEO content writing and editing for link building purposes
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• A passion for digital marketing and a constant desire to stay ahead of SEO trends
