About Your Next Opportunity

HTC VIVE is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, strong storytelling abilities, and experience in creating engaging content across various platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, producing high-quality content, and driving brand awareness and engagement.

This is a 6-12 month contract role.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in managing and working with external social media agencies.
  • Manage the Viverse social media accounts, create posts, respond to comments.
  • Create content, including voice recordings for tutorials and social posts.
  • Help develop social media strategy for the Viverse product line.
  • Communicate the corporate image or products through social media networks and tools.
  • Monitor company online communities and presence.
  • Make initial responses to inquiries, complaints, comments and other contacts generated through social media and coordinates escalations or further communications; analyzes responses to social media activities and makes recommendations.
  • Represent the company message to online communities, media, analysts and the general public at large.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • Experience strategizing, scheduling, and managing content across the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, BlueSky, Twitter (X), YouTube, and Reddit.
  • Experience using the following posting tools: Sprinklr, Meta Business, and YouTube Studio.
  • Proficiency in video content creation, editing direction, and thumbnail design using the following tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement strategies, and content creation best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling social media copy, blog posts, and SEO-optimized content.
  • Experience using social media analytics tools such as Sprinklr, YouTube Analytics, and Google Analytics to track performance and optimize strategies.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams, including development, content creation, marketing, and external partners.
  • Experience in community management and engagement, including responding to social media interactions, managing influencer collaborations, and handling brand reputation.
  • Knowledge of hashtag strategies, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to maximize content reach.
  • Ability to research and implement emerging trends, optimizing content strategies to align with evolving digital landscapes.
  • Strong portfolio of social media content creation and campaigns.

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated hourly non-exempt rate of pay for this position is $55.02 AUD – $63.44 AUD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
