Marketing Director
Jack Porter is where immersive brand experiences meet the built environment. We're looking for a hands-on and strategic Marketing Director to lead the charge. This role owns the marketing strategy—and rolls up their sleeves to help execute it.
You’ll be responsible for shaping how the world sees Jack Porter. From campaigns to content, from vendor oversight to social storytelling, you’ll direct the vision and drive the day-to-day. You’ll also mentor and manage direct reports and oversee external vendors and contractors as needed.
At the end of the day, your north star is simple: generate demand and support business development. Whether it’s through campaigns, content, or connections, your work should open doors and drive conversations that lead to new opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive Jack Porter’s marketing strategy, with a focus on brand visibility, lead generation, and positioning that supports our business development efforts
- Manage and evolve our digital presence—website, social media, email, and paid media
- Oversee the marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns align with company goals, key events, and client milestones
- Develop content that converts—case studies, email campaigns, social content, reels, decks, and proposals that showcase our work and value
- Lead the planning and execution of project documentation—collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to ensure finished work is well-documented and positioned for marketing, case studies, awards, and future pursuits
- Track and report on performance using platform analytics, offering insights and recommendations to improve results
- Mentor and manage direct reports and help determine how to scale the team over time
- Assess and manage vendors or contractors (e.g., video editors, photographers, SEO consultants, web designers)
- Collaborate across teams—partnering with Leadership and Business Development to keep our messaging sharp and consistent
- Support and strategize around industry conferences—partner with business development to identify key events, assist in lead targeting, and creating tailored marketing collateral that elevates our presence
WHO YOU ARE
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable in a player-coach environment
- A strategic marketer who thrives in both vision and execution
- Proficient in HubSpot—CRM, email marketing, automation, and analytics
- Confident using Asana to manage projects and timelines
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
- A strong copywriter who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling marketing
- Experienced in email marketing, including segmentation, testing, and performance tracking
- Able to build, run, and optimize ad campaigns on LinkedIn and Google
- Understands LinkedIn as a content and marketing platform, from organic strategy to paid promotions
- Experienced working with vendors and freelancers, giving clear direction and maintaining brand standards
EXTRA CREDIT
- Background in B2B, environmental design, architecture, and/or sports industries
- Familiar with SEO, inbound strategy, or retargeting
- Has led or contributed to RFP/RFQ responses, bringing clarity, consistency, and design thinking to the process
WHAT YOU'LL GET
Impact
Your work won’t just support the business—it will drive it forward. Every campaign you launch, every story you tell, and every strategy you shape will help us reach new audiences and open new doors. You'll turn ideas into visibility, and visibility into business growth. At Jack Porter, marketing is not a support function—it's a front-line force.
Culture
At Jack Porter, we’re collaborators at heart. Designers, strategists, builders, and dreamers—your teammates are a talented, tight-knit crew who thrive on big ideas and better execution. You’ll have space to lead, room to grow, and the support of people who value great work and good vibes.
We don’t believe in burnout or silos. Whether it's brainstorming over coffee, jumping into a Mario Kart race, or clinking glasses at happy hour, we make time to recharge and connect—because the best work comes from teams who enjoy working together.
Compensation
- Competitive salary
- Discretionary bonus
- Medical benefits (health, dental, vision)
- Time off (PTO, paid holidays, sick leave)
- 401k with 4% match
- Paid maternity and paternity leave
- Inspiring HQ workspace with a full range of amenities
