Position Title: Brand Manager
Location: Remote
Reports To: VP of Brand Management & Business Development
Overview:
The Brand Manager is a vital member of our team, responsible for driving the strategic vision
and sales execution for our brand partners. Working closely with our Internal Sales Team, this
role shapes and implements innovative strategies to maximize brand growth, optimize retailer
relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets. The Brand Manager will lead product
development, channel strategy, and sales coordination, ensuring our brands thrive in
competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Management:
● Lead product development and branding initiatives to enhance market presence and
consumer appeal.
● Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and Go-to-Market strategies to
meet or exceed sales goals.
● Design and implement channel-specific strategies, including standardized product
launch platforms, to establish competitive everyday and promotional pricing by retailer
and market.
Sales Management & Coordination:
● Manage key accounts in collaboration with the Internal Sales Team to ensure effective
retailer engagement.
● Oversee sales management functions, including coordination with broker networks, to
achieve budgeted targets.
● Facilitate retail sales execution by providing strategic direction and feedback loops to
refine approaches and improve performance.
● Collaborate with the team to deliver retailer reports (e.g., sales performance, stock
status, voids) to inform decision-making.
Strategic Planning & Analytics:
● Participate in strategy sessions to align on KPIs and identify growth opportunities.
● Support financial forecasting and demand planning to ensure alignment with business
objectives.
● Conduct quarterly strategic reviews to assess progress, adapt plans, and maintain
momentum.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
● Lead bi-weekly alignment meetings with the Internal Sales Team and external clients to
track progress and refine strategies.
● Provide strategic oversight for retailer presentations conducted by the sales team to
accelerate "Speed to Shelf" product cut-ins.
● Provide tools and guidance to navigate complex retail environments, including trade
spend and marketing.
Travel:
● Some travel may be required
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
● 2-3 years of proven experience in brand management or a related capacity, ideally within
the CPG or Food Industry.
● Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools.
● Experience with CRM software management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
● Proficiency with Canva/PowerPoint and Google Workspace.
● Exceptional presentation skills and confidence in leading meetings with internal teams
and external stakeholders.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building relationships.
● Solid understanding of brand management principles and a passion for delivering
outstanding customer experiences.
Preferred:
● Background in promotion management or financial forecasting.
● Prior success in developing and launching Go-to-Market strategies in retail
environments.
● Familiarity with SPINS data.
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
