Roster manages the hiring process for the top global creators and brands. Totem Media, Australia's leading creator agency, is on the hunt for a motivated Social Media Manager to run one of their exciting entertainment channels! We're helping them fill this position.

The role

The social media landscape is fast-paced and ever-evolving. Totem Media has pioneered new content models to create global category leaders on social media, turning Bondi Rescue into the No.1 factual entertainment brand in the world and generating 12B+ views with 4,000+ videos over the last 12 months.

Your job? Grow the social media audience of one of Totem's iconic entertainment brands through strategic content planning, community management, and performance analysis. You'll be part of a driven, cross-functional team of experts at organically scaling audiences of Entertainment and/or Creator brands.

Here's what you'll be working on

• Building communities of superfans around your channels
• Creating clickable thumbnails and titles and writing compelling copy to drive discovery
• Designing, managing, implementing, and optimizing content plans for your channels
• Analyzing channel performance, contributing insights, and making recommendations for improvement
• Collaborating with and overseeing a team of video editors to create awesome content
• Staying on top of new social media trends, platforms, and products

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have 2-3 years of experience in social video and managing social media channels in a professional setting (YouTube, Facebook)
• Demonstrate a proven track record in growing social audiences
• Possess strong writing skills and attention to detail for compelling titles and captions
• Have design knowledge to brief in eye-catching and clickable thumbnails
• Show strong project and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with colleagues and clients
• Have experience working with social analytics and using insights to drive decisions
• Be highly organized, accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Have previous work experience on revenue-generating social media pages (bonus!)
