Role Overview: The Associate Director, Brand & Engagement is responsible for building and strengthening the Supreme Group brand while also supporting the individual agency brand marketing within the platform. This role will oversee brand strategy, corporate communications, PR & thought leadership, events, awards sponsorships, and organic social content—ensuring cohesive positioning and visibility for both the Supreme Group platform and its agencies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that elevate Supreme Group’s presence as an industry leader while also enhancing the brand strength and differentiation of its agencies in the life sciences, pharma, biotech, health tech, and med device sectors. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to ensure that brand-building efforts align with demand generation strategies to drive measurable impact.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on marketing leader with experience in life sciences and healthcare marketing, ideally with agency or in house experience supporting pharma, biotech, health tech, or medical device companies.
Key Responsibilities: Brand & Engagement Strategy
• Lead the development and execution of Supreme Group’s platform brand marketing strategy while also supporting brand development and positioning efforts for individual agencies within the group.
• Define and oversee brand positioning to strengthen awareness, engagement and reputation within the healthcare and life sciences industry.
• Establish and maintain brand governance, ensuring consistency in messaging tone, and visual identity across Supreme Group and its agencies. Corporate Communications & PR
• Develop and execute internal and corporate communications strategies, ensuring alignment across Supreme Group and its agencies ensuring alignment across Supreme Group and its agencies.
• Lead PR and thought leadership initiatives, including media outreach, executive positioning, and content creation to enhance Supreme Group’s and its agencies’ industry presence.
• Identify and pursue strategic media opportunities, partnerships, and speaking engagements. Events, Sponsorships, and Awards
• Oversee the planning and execution of industry events, sponsorships, and awards submissions for both Supreme Group and its agencies.
• Work cross-functionally to develop event strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop compelling event narratives, speaker opportunities, and sponsorship activations. Organic Social & Content Calendar
• Manage the organic social content strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives for Supreme Group and its agencies.
• Develop and implement a content calendar that enhances engagement and amplifies thought leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
• 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, communications, PR, or related fields.
• Experience in life sciences and healthcare marketing is required, preferably with agency or in-house experience supporting pharma, biotech, health tech, or med device companies.
• Proven experience building and managing both platform-level and individua agency/brand strategies.
• Strong project management and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting corporate messaging, PR, and thought leadership content.
• Experience managing event strategy, sponsorships, and awards submissions • Strong understanding of organic social media strategy, content development and audience engagement.
• Ability to collaborate with performance marketing and creative teams to align brand and demand generation strategies. • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and demand generation principles is a plus.
