PLEASE NOTE: You must have a experience leading marketing teams for Direct to Consumer products of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) that are shipped directly to customer's homes (not through retail stores) to be considered for this role.

Position Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Director to join our growing and sensational team as a Co-Founder. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join an exciting new startup where it's not investors that get early equity stakes, but the team members who do the work to launch and grow the company. This role is for EQUITY only in the first few months. Later in 2025, all Co-Founder roles will convert over to traditional salaried positions, plus you keep all of the equity as an owner that you earned up to that point. You will have the option to start either part time or full time, whatever you are able to commit to.

Role Description:

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to lead our growth and performance marketing efforts in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at scaling customer acquisition and retention strategies while ensuring marketing campaigns are data-driven, high-performing, and aligned with revenue goals.

This person will oversee paid media, email/SMS marketing, landing pages, experience and community engagement, and conversion optimization, driving revenue while collaborating with the Creative Director and their team for asset production. If you have a strong background in paid media, growth strategy, and performance marketing and have experience scaling eCommerce brands, we’d love to hear from you!

Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a full-funnel growth strategy that drives customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
  • Own and optimize paid marketing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube) to maximize ROAS and revenue growth.
  • Oversee email, SMS, and retention marketing to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and repeat purchases.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure all marketing creative supports growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement influencer, affiliate, and partnership strategies.
  • Set KPIs, budgets, and forecasts for all marketing initiatives, ensuring strong ROI.

Execution & Performance Optimization

  • Manage, launch, and scale ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
  • Work with web developers and designers to optimize landing pages for conversions (CRO).
  • Analyze campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Oversee A/B testing across ad creative, copy, audiences, and landing pages.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team focused on growth and retention.
  • Oversee growth marketers, email/SMS marketers, and performance specialists while working closely with the Creative Director and their team.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, marketing innovations, and competitive landscape changes.
