The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Professional to be our Senior Director Healthcare Marketing & Communications. In this high-impact role, you will lead initiatives in our marketing team that drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and business growth through integrated marketing and communications strategies. Your expertise will help position FlyteHealth as the industry leader in tech-enabled obesity care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy aligned with FlyteHealth’s business objectives, including digital marketing, content creation, PR, and brand positioning.
  • Healthcare Public Relations: Lead comprehensive PR initiatives, securing high-impact media placements, crafting compelling press releases, and leveraging social media to amplify our value story, clinical efficacy, and leadership insights.
  • Competitive Market Intelligence: Establish a competitive intelligence framework, including SWOT analyses, battle cards, and tracking of competitor clinical results and marketing strategies to refine FlyteHealth’s market positioning.
  • Clinical Thought Leadership: Leverage internal medical experts to create and promote clinical white papers, peer-reviewed publications, and social media content that underscores our expertise and efficacy.
  • Content & Brand Strategy: Oversee a robust content marketing calendar, developing high-quality materials (articles, blogs, videos, presentations) that educate and engage key stakeholders, including employers, consultants, and payers.
  • Customer Engagement, Patient Journey & NPS Optimization: Drive initiatives that enhance the patient journey, leveraging data insights, SMS, and email campaigns to improve engagement and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Integrated Outreach Campaigns: Design and implement employer group marketing campaigns, including email templates, office signage, and digital assets, ensuring a seamless client experience and measurable engagement.
  • Creative Direction & Asset Management: Manage creative asset development, overseeing branding, website content, marketing collateral, and video production to maintain FlyteHealth’s industry-leading presence.
  • Internal Communications & Culture Building: Partner with HR to foster a culture of engagement through internal initiatives, team celebrations, and community involvement programs.
  • Value Story: Take a fresh look at our value story to find ways to improve including: how we differentiate from competitors, simplifying our solution offering, demonstrating our clinical results, recognizing our patient journey, and hinting at future enhancements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing communications experience, ideally in digital health, healthcare technology, or B2B healthcare services.
  • Proven success in executing PR, digital marketing, and thought leadership campaigns within the healthcare industry.
  • Deep expertise in selling tech-enabled clinical services to benefits consultants, self-insured employers, insurance payers, and health systems.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships, including executive leadership, sales teams, and external partners.
