Financial Accountant - Immediate Start - Full Remote

This is a rare opportunity to step into a global finance role within a well-established tech scaleup. One that gives you the autonomy to manage your day, work remotely and operate across multiple international entities.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit finance team of three, reporting to a CFO who’s built out the function from scratch and knows exactly how to support you.

With a strong handover already planned, you’ll step into a business-critical role with genuine ownership and a clear runway ahead.

This a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. Paying up to 110k + Super and fully remote - you can be based anywhere in Australia.

What you’ll be doing:

• Finalising month-end close across five global entities (AUS, UK, US, Ireland, Poland)
• Reviewing outsourced bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR, and revenue recognition processes
• Preparing and posting journals including payroll, FX, provisions, intercompany entries
• Owning balance sheet reconciliations and driving month-end hygiene
• Supporting the CFO with a global audit - preparing data, liaising with advisors, managing requests
• Maintaining compliance across international jurisdictions
• Working closely with commercial and operational teams as needed

What we’re looking for:

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualified, those studying towards will still be considered
• Hands-on experience with month-end and compliance across multiple entities
• Strong technical accounting skills (AASB/IFRS)
• Experience working with Xero (essential)
• Able to work independently in a remote environment and hit the ground running
• A proactive, trustworthy and collaborative mindset - you’ll be given full autonomy and are expected to own it
