Our client, a holding that owns several e-commerce brands, is hiring a Head of Social Media & Brand Partnerships!
Key Responsibilities:
Organic Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a data-driven, content-first organic social media strategy that aligns with where content discovery and social engagement are heading in 2025.
- Build our brand into a "favorite creator" that followers engage with regularly by focusing on relatable, authentic, and trust-driven storytelling rather than just aspirational content.
- Oversee platform-specific content ideation, creation, and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and emerging platforms (prioritizing short-form video).
- Utilize UGC (user-generated content) and creator-led campaigns to drive authenticity and social proof.
- Identify viral trends, cultural moments, and social conversations to maximize organic reach and engagement.
- Implement A/B testing on content formats and messaging to optimize for engagement, discoverability, and conversions.
- Own community management, ensuring that our audience receives fast, engaging responses and that the brand feels highly interactive and relationship-driven.
- Manage and mentor Social Media Assistants to ensure smooth execution of daily content scheduling, posting, and engagement strategies.
Content Creator & Influencer Marketing
- Develop and scale a high-performing influencer and content creator marketing program that drives customer acquisition and long-term brand affinity.
- Prioritize partnerships with relatable, trust-driven creators (rather than just aspirational ones) to match how consumer preferences are shifting.
- Identify and recruit highly-engaged influencers and content creators who align with our brand's lifestyle and community values.
- Oversee negotiations, contracts, and performance tracking to ensure ROI-driven influencer collaborations.
- Leverage UGC and creator-led content in paid media, email/SMS campaigns, and affiliate promotions to maximize revenue impact.
- Track influencer-driven sales & engagement data to refine partnership strategies and optimize performance.
Brand Partnerships & Strategic Collaborations
- Identify and execute brand-to-brand collaborations, giveaways, and co-branded launches that tap into complementary audiences.
- Form strategic alliances with other DTC brands, fitness organizations, wellness communities, and media outlets to expand our reach.
- Leverage partnerships for cross-promotional opportunities, ambassador-led campaigns, and podcast sponsorships.
- Develop creative activations (e.g., wellness retreats, fitness challenges, and live shopping events) to deepen customer engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in social media management, influencer/affiliate marketing, and brand partnerships for a DTC e-commerce brand specifically or in an agency environment (preferably health, wellness, or fitness-related).
- Proven track record of growing social media followings, engagement, and influencer-driven revenue.
- Experience in negotiating and managing brand collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of social algorithms, UGC, short-form content trends, and community engagement strategies.
- Deep experience in organic TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social media platforms.
- Strong relationships with creators, influencers, athletes, and media in the wellness and fitness space is a plus.
- Experience using influencer marketing platforms (e.g., GRIN, Upfluence, AspireIQ, TikTok Creator Marketplace).
- Self-starter who can own the strategy, work independently, and scale programs efficiently.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and present insights.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
