Communications Specialist

We are partnering exclusively with our airline client to identify a Communications Specialist to support the technical training team while an employee is on leave. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to develop a monthly divisional newsletter for an audience of several thousand IT professionals. The newsletter will highlight key updates, industry trends, and the ongoing technological integration of two recently merged companies.

The ideal consultant will have a strong ability to simplify complex technical information into clear, engaging, and accessible content.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Through May with the possibility to extend

Hours: 12-16 hours per week in April then 30 hours per week in May

Location: Virtual

Experience Required:

• Proven experience creating content specifically for IT professionals
• Strong ability to simplify and translate complex technical concepts while maintaining accuracy and engagement
• Experience developing internal communications or newsletters
• Proficiency in SharePoint for newsletter distribution is a plus
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills to extract key insights and shape content
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to provide writing samples

The pay range for this is $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
