The Newsroom is a growing group within the client’s Communications team. The client's core objective is to grow brand awareness, engagement, and trust through audience-first content that positions the client as an industry leader.

This role is at the heart of the client's storytelling efforts, combining journalistic expertise with a passion for technology and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, insightful, and impactful content that reflects the client’s brand voice and values while resonating with global audiences. From thought leadership pieces to industry trend analysis, you’ll help bring the client’s story to life in a way that informs, inspires, and connects.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Produce compelling news, analysis, and multimedia content that engages the client's audience and creates value for readers.
- Trend Reporting: Monitor, research, and report on emerging industry trends in technology, cybersecurity, and identity, positioning the client as a thought leader in the space.
- Storytelling: Craft unique, human-centered stories on a wide range of topics about identity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, PR, product teams, and other stakeholders to align content creation with business objectives and ensure consistency in messaging.
- Editorial Strategy: Contribute to the editorial calendar, pitching ideas and shaping content themes that align with the client’s priorities.

- Content Promotion: Ensure content reaches the right audiences through strategic distribution, including via social media, paid promotion, content syndication, etc.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the success of content through metrics and adapt strategies to optimize for reach and impact.
- Video Storytelling: Shoot news-style footage and perform basic video edits to create compelling content.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in reporting, writing, or content creation, preferably in the tech industry or a newsroom environment.
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape; familiarity with cybersecurity, identity, or SaaS is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen sense for audience-focused storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
- Proficiency with digital content creation tools and analytics platforms is a bonus.
- Basic news-style videography and video editing skills are a plus.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field is preferred but not required.
