We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media & PR Marketing Specialist to enhance brand presence and engagement across Europe. This role is perfect for a marketing professional with expertise in managing digital campaigns, social media strategies, and PR initiatives targeting both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) audiences.
Position Overview:
As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media and PR campaigns across multiple countries, ensuring messaging is tailored for both HCPs and patients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content, manage advertising campaigns, and strengthen brand reputation through strategic public relations efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions among HCPs and DTC audiences.
- Manage and optimize advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring effective targeting for each audience.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing reports and recommendations based on KPIs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Lead PR strategies, including press releases, media events, and interviews, to enhance brand reputation and visibility in the medical and consumer markets.
- Expand and manage brand ambassador programs, engaging both medical professionals and patient advocates.
- Oversee the production of patient testimonial videos for use across social media, websites, and DTC campaigns, working closely with agencies and content creators.
- Collaborate with healthcare and marketing teams to ensure compliance and alignment with HCP communication standards.
- Ensure HCP-focused content provides educational value while maintaining an engaging tone for consumers.
- Support additional marketing projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in social media marketing, PR, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and LinkedIn.
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads Manager.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyse and report on social media and PR activities for both HCP and DTC audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in German (native) and English; French or Dutch is a plus.
- Experience in the medical or healthcare industry is a plus.
