As the managing director of Huddle Up Creative, she finds scuba diving to be an addictive sport that offers unparalleled experiences. In her interview, she shares her journey and the tranquility and mindfulness diving provides.
How Emma Became a Diver
Growing up in New Zealand, Emma was naturally drawn to the water. To dive regularly as a university student on a budget, she decided to work in the diving industry. In 2007, she enrolled in all necessary courses to become an instructor, securing her Open Water Diver certification. By 2009, she became a certified instructor and has since embarked on diving adventures around the globe.
"Diving offers a sense of tranquillity, weightlessness, and mindfulness that’s hard to match," Emma explains. Her commitment to scuba diving has not only been a personal journey but also a professional one, as she continues to inspire others through her work and mentorship initiatives, including the Future Female Leaders Program for young women in Western Australia.
