Exciting New Additions to Shores & Islands Ohio
SANDUSKY — Shores & Islands Ohio, the tourism bureau and destination marketing organization for Erie and Ottawa counties, has recently welcomed two new staff members: Nick Ollervides and Meaghan Reynolds. Both are set to enhance travel and tourism promotion across the region.
Nick Ollervides: Partner Engagement Manager
Nick Ollervides, hailing from Sandusky, joins as a partner engagement manager. A Bowling Green State University graduate, he has a robust background in marketing, having served as an account executive with Buckeye Broadband, and as a social media coordinator for Catawba Island Brewing Co.
Ollervides will utilize his expertise to promote the bureau's opportunities to prospective partners and will act as the main liaison between Shores & Islands Ohio and its partners, ensuring they leverage all available marketing options. He is based at the Sandusky Welcome Center and can be contacted at nick@shoresandislands.com.
Meaghan Reynolds: Social Media Manager
Joining the team is Meaghan Reynolds from Port Clinton, who takes on the role of social media manager. A graduate of Ohio University, Reynolds has notable experience in social media and marketing, previously working for Pink Lily and Fat Head’s Brewery. She also operated her own business, M of Hope, for five years.
Reynolds is tasked with managing all aspects of the organization’s social media, including content creation and influencer marketing. You might have seen her actively creating engaging content for their channels. She is based at the Port Clinton Welcome Center and can be reached at meaghan@shoresandislands.com.
