Social Media Content Strategist

Social Media Content Strategistc.£45K base + benefits (dependent on experience)Remote (Candidates must already be UK residents due to labour and tax laws)

My client is a leading entrepreneurial figure in the UK tech scene and has several multi-million business concerns and is seeking to bring in a Social Media Content Strategist to lead a new project on his entrepreneurship brand and drive video, views, engagement, and presence on all the likes of TikTok, IG, YouTube Shorts, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business with excellent funding and work directly with a Founder figure with an increasing media profile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Script-Writing, Content Ideation, Format Ideas, and Strategy with a view toward audience driving growth and video views across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and increasingly LinkedIn
• Content & Audience Growth– knowing what techniques and ideas to employ to drive channel subs, video views
• YouTube Thumbnail Design Knowledge – Working with internal teams and a Videographer to drive clickability and interaction
• Video Analytics and Optimisation – deep understanding of the data to drive ideation, strategy, and growth plans
• Community Management – keep the audience and community-engaged, respond to and moderate comments where necessary
• Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication – working with internal team members in different time zones and being able to influence and manage upward as well as sideways and downwards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Social Media Manager / Content Strategist or a similar role.. ideally building the brand of a business Influencer, entrepreneur or similar Internet Personality
• Strong understanding of TikTok, IG, FB YouTube algorithms, analytics, and SEO best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
• Problem-solving mindset and creative thinker
• Previous experience in Business / Entrepreneurship Content is desirable

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
• Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging platforms.
• Ability to analyse competitor channels and market trends.
