Role Overview: Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Manager, Category Club C-Store, Drug & Dollar to support the Grocery team. This role will be responsible for analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to develop strategies for category growth, ensuring the products are competitively positioned and promoted. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Create and execute strategies to grow convenience and drug store channels, aligning with broader company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges within the category.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in convenience and drug stores, collaborating to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
  • Manage and recommend product assortments for convenience and drug stores, ensuring the right products are offered to meet consumer demand.
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to design and execute in-store promotions, displays, and seasonal campaigns to boost sales within the category.
  • Regularly report on the category’s sales performance, tracking growth, profitability, and ROI, and presenting these insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment on category objectives, budgets, and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, category management, or a related role within the CPG industry, ideally with exposure to convenience and drug store channels.
  • Strong ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions and drive category growth.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies to drive growth while balancing short-term goals and profitability.
  • Deep understanding of category management principles, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with category management software or other sales and analytics tools.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
