Position Summary:
With a focus on unlocking new business opportunities, Parabellum are seeking an experienced, customer centric outbound sales and business development specialist to uncover new opportunities and arrange qualified meetings for our account & technical teams.
This role will suit someone who is autonomous, highly motivated, entrepreneurial and driven to uncover new opportunities and be rewarded with high commissions. This role comes supported with a comprehensive sales tech stack of tools (Likedin Sales Navigator, Lusha, Zoho CRM, Aircall) and will see you grow personally and professionally in a supportive environment that will back you to be your best.
Your Impact:
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities via phone (making approx. 40 calls per day)
- Utilise email, LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams and networking events to drive commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with Account Management & Technical teams.
- Maintain accurate and upto date CRM data & client notes.
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and implement prospect strategies and plans.
- Ensure a high levels of professionalism with timely & accurate follow up.
- Take part in internal trade marketing campaign ideation & development of sales materials.
- Stay current with new industry products and services, including, pricing, and cybersecurity industry trends.
- Exhibit a strong desire to achieve and a dependable, positive "can-do" attitude, both over the phone and in person.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years BDM experience selling to IT leadership (Exp in Education, Catholic & independent schools a bonus).
- Confidence and experience in engaging management and C-Suite.
- Previous experience in IT/Cybersecurity industry highly desired.
- A track record of achieving strongly against commercial targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A coachable, growth mindset and optimistic personality.
- Proficiency in prioritisation and making well-informed decisions.
- An interest in developing your cyber security knowledge and business acumen.
- Australian Resident essential.
- Experience working in boutique or startup sized firms an advantage.
