Online Beauty Stylist - Remote

Job Description Online Beauty Stylists connect one-on-one with our customers through digital tools like Beauty Chat/Phone and Request a Look on Nordstrom.com. This role requires a passion for service, beauty, and fashion along with expertise in skincare, makeup, and fragrance to serve our customers digitally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to all customer beauty inquiries through chat, phone, and email.
• Help customers learn more about Nordstrom beauty products and how to use them.
• Use sales and beauty expertise as well as product knowledge to create personalized beauty looks when customers use the Request a Look feature.
• Curate beauty content to inspire customers to shop on Nordstrom.com.
• Consistently seek new beauty and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer.
• Achieve and maintain digital beauty performance measures.
• Open to taking on additional activities that support beauty and styling.
• Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries related to beauty via incoming phone/email and/or chat contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ months experience in fragrance, skincare, and makeup.
• Experience in sales required; must be confident in selling all price points and all Nordstrom products.
• Experience with digital selling tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficient in navigating various forms of tools and technology
• Ability to drive the execution and completion of deliverables on time and with appropriate urgency, such as responding to customer’s in a timely manner.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and follow-through skills.
• Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance.
• Ability to work a set schedule (scheduled start, stop, breaks, and lunches), including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs; flexibility required during peak times.
• A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace.
• Ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turn on the camera when requested by leadership.

HOURS:

• This is an hourly position that will require schedule flexibility, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Expected schedule is 40 hours a week comprised of 5, 8-hour shifts.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum upload speed 15 MB/s.
• Minimum download speed 2 MB/s.
• Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
