Location: Helsinki, Finland (Remote-friendly for the right candidate)

Helmia is a Finnish designer fine jewelry brand that challenges the norms around pearls—turning them into raw, edgy statements of self-expression. We blend Nordic minimalism with an urban, daring spirit, creating wearable art that’s fluid, sculptural, and unpredictable. We’re still at an early stage and looking for a founding partner who’s passionate about taking our brand to the next level.

This is an equity-based founding team role—ideal for someone who wants to shape and own a piece of a future fashion powerhouse, not just work for one.

What You’ll Do:

• Media & PR Outreach: Score features in top fashion publications and blogs, and build organic buzz around Helmia.
• Influencer & Stylist Relations: Connect with emerging and established trendsetters to amplify our presence.
• Brand Partnerships: Seek out and develop relationships with concept stores, lifestyle boutiques, and like-minded brands.
• Storytelling & Campaigns: Shape our narrative with compelling campaigns that capture Helmia’s edgy, modern DNA.
• Experiential Marketing: Plan and execute pop-ups, trunk shows, and creative events that spark conversations and excitement.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

• Live and Breathe Fashion & Jewelry: You’re excited by the idea of building a brand that flips tradition on its head.
• Have Some Experience in PR or Marketing: Whether in-house, freelance, or at an agency—you know how to get a brand noticed.
• Love Networking: Meeting new people, building relationships, and finding fresh opportunities feels natural to you.
• Are Entrepreneurial at Heart: You thrive on the thrill of starting something new and being hands-on in its growth.
• Crave Creative Freedom: You have big ideas on how to set trends and tell a unique brand story.

Nice to have:

• Fashion Industry Network: Contacts with fashion editors, influencers, stylists, or retail buyers.
• Experience with Fashion Events: Prior involvement in fashion pop-ups, trunk shows, or experiential marketing.
• Eye for Aesthetics: You’re skilled in photography, styling, or creating visually striking social content.
• Digital Marketing Skills: Experience with social media campaigns or influencer partnerships.
• Previous Startup Experience: You know how to work lean, pivot quickly, and embrace uncertainty with excitement.
