CONTENT WRITER

We're looking for an SEO content writer to create high-quality evergreen articles, online guides, and other SEO-focused content for our website. This role is all about crafting informative and engaging pieces that provide long-term value to our readers. If you excel at writing well-researched guides, optimising content for search engines, and making complex topics easy to understand, we'd love to hear from you.

Tasks

• Writing evergreen content on topics relevant to European expats in Spain, from relocation advice to lifestyle guides.
• Creating detailed local and online guides, (ex. "Best Areas to Live in Madrid" or "How to Set Up a Business in Spain.")
• Ensuring all content is SEO-optimised, using the right keywords, formatting, and internal linking strategies.
• Collaborating with the editorial and SEO teams to align content with business goals.
• Editing and fact-checking articles to maintain accuracy and credibility.

Requirements

Proven experience in writing SEO-friendly content.

• A solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to turn complex topics into engaging, well-structured articles.
• Familiarity with WordPress. Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
• Experience writing about travel, expat life, local guides, or business-related topics is a bonus.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
• Understanding of European expat culture and lifestyle trends.
