OVERVIEW:
At Dealers United, we help automotive dealers and home services companies dramatically increase their total sales with full service digital solutions, including SEO, social advertising, and Google search advertising.
The Social Performance Manager, or simply Social PM, will be responsible for developing, optimizing, maintaining, and communicating a customized and comprehensive paid social media marketing strategy. This is not a position for organic social media marketing. They will also be responsible for media buying across Meta (primarily), Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok. They will work to understand the customers’ goals and bring these goals to life in a timely manner. Delivering best-in-class, “WOW” customer service is always a priority at Dealers United. You will report directly to the Director of Social Performance Managers.
This is a W2 position. Eligible candidates must live within the US, and be eligible for W2 status.RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be directly responsible for the overall development, optimization, and maintenance of paid search campaigns for clients, including:
- Understand how to plan search, conduct research, forecasting and formulate budget recommendations
- Build new ad copy, and bulk sheet uploads for new campaign setup
- Establish effective bid strategies
- Strong knowledge of GA4 – creating new GA4 accounts, tracking, reporting, audience strategy, gather insights
- Independently monitor budget pacing and performance across different ad platforms
- Propose and implement optimizations that align with Paid Social best practices to improve performance against predetermined benchmarks on an ongoing basis
- Develop and execute tests across campaign variables that create client-specific insight and feed future testing
- Quality assurance – check correct implementation of uploads
- Understanding client goals and how to maximize those measures of success through tactical strategies and optimizations
- Professional and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare & analyze reports on a monthly & ad-hoc basis that produce actionable insights for implementation
- Great understanding of Paid Social performance metrics to pinpoint trends, identify key data points and optimize opportunity
- Ability to analyze large data sets to understand performance trends to inform optimization decisions
- Present report findings/recommendations to internal teams/clients
- Present report findings to clients in a monthly performance meeting on Zoom, or a similar online meeting platform
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in ad campaign management across: Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
- Expert with platforms such as Looker Studio and Business Managers on different social media platforms. Social advertising certifications are a plus.
- Strong expertise with GA4, i.e: analyzing reports, setting up events
- Ability to analyze advertising data & have a problem-solving mindset
- Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets: formula creation, graphs, and shortcuts
- Strong understanding of media metrics and how data tells a story
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Superior task and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to ask questions, problem-solve, optimize processes, and both offer and take constructive feedback on designs and ideas
- Goal-driven and self-motivated team player with a passion for learning

- Ability to tell a meaningful story with your ad campaign data
- A strong capability in presenting monthly advertising data
- Campaign performance against both client and company KPIs
- Retention of customer accounts
