ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Digital Marketing & Performance Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of performance strategies to help our clients achieve their goals. Working alongside a collaborative team, you will manage relationships with a variety of clients and use your Performance marketing skills to build campaigns, test creative and provide the client insights they can use to grow their business.
This position is full-time and remote, although applicants based in Victoria are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their objectives. Conduct thorough, data-driven analyses across paid media channels and competitive landscapes to formulate targeted, high-impact strategies.
- Craft and implement data-driven performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, achieving impactful ROI and tangible outcomes that align with the client's strategic goals.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of diverse marketing channels, including email marketing, website optimisation, SEO, and social media. Use your strong grasp of how to strategically leverage each channel, knowing when and how to "pull what lever" for maximum impact.
- Efficiently manage marketing budgets to maximise ROI, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Utilise performance data to recommend and justify strategic budget adjustments, supporting scalable growth opportunities as campaign effectiveness is demonstrated to align with their goals.
- Manage end-to-end account and campaign setup across all performance channels, including tracking pixel implementation, ad build and structure, and budget allocation, alongside knowledge about multiple channel attribution formats and decisions.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, optimising campaigns and providing recommendations to the client for continual improvement.
- Lead regular client meetings to present actionable insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to maximise results and drive continuous improvement.
- Remain current with changes in digital marketing platforms and make updates as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies in the performance landscape and find opportunities for client strategies to become more effective.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and coaching to junior and mid-level Performance Marketers, advising on growth strategies, campaign optimisations, and tactical executions for accounts, ensuring alignment with the Common Intent standard and client objectives.
- Lead internal projects with end-to-end implementation.
- Assisting with ongoing tasks associated with the Common Intent brand and company.
EXPERIENCES & CAPABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of success in Performance Marketing, or proven success in management of an monthly ad budget of $150,000 + per month.
- Demonstrated success in managing performance marketing campaigns to drive client results.
- Extensive experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels and Programmatic Advertising. Experience with Pinterest, TikTok and other platforms valued.
- Enjoy operating in a fast paced environment, where no two days are the same.
- Keen eye for detail - typos and spend allocations aren’t things you slip up on.
- Have a data driven yet creatively-influenced mindset.
- Knowledge of Attribution Modeling with an ability to explain how it impacts business.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership in mentoring other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
