Overview

Cerby is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Demand Generation to drive our next phase of expansion. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, optimizing customer expansion and acquisition, and establishing scalable marketing processes. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for building and scaling growth programs across multiple channels, optimizing our demand generation funnel, and aligning sales, marketing, and product efforts to accelerate pipeline velocity. In our fast-paced, lean environment, you’ll need to be both hands-on and highly strategic—able to quickly pivot, test, and iterate to find high-growth opportunities while communicating effectively with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own and lead demand generation strategy

Develop and execute a full-funnel demand generation strategy that directly drives pipeline, revenue, and customer growth. You will own the roadmap, execution, and optimization across all channels to ensure we meet our MQL, SQL, and pipeline targets.

Manage and optimize multi-channel campaigns

Own and execute demand gen programs across all channels, including paid search, paid social, digital, syndication, etc. Ensure campaigns are measurable, optimized, and aligned with pipeline goals.

Drive lead conversion and pipeline acceleration

Build and manage lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the funnel. Work closely with RevOps and Sales to optimize conversion rates at every stage, ensuring MQLs turn into SQLs and pipeline.

Maximize impact from events and partnerships

Support Marketing Events on pre- and post-event demand generation—ensuring campaigns drive attendance and follow-up efforts convert leads into pipeline. Support co-marketing strategies with key partners to expand reach and generate demand.

Own reporting, analytics, and budget

Define, track, and report on key metrics to measure demand gen performance. You will own the demand gen budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across channels and programs to maximize ROI.

Optimize through testing and iteration

Collaborate with Product Marketing to continuously test and refine campaigns, messaging, and landing pages to improve performance. Leverage data and insights to make proactive decisions that drive efficiency and lower acquisition costs.

Scale the function as we grow

Hire, mentor, and manage a growing team, including agency partners and contractors. You will set the vision for demand gen at Cerby and scale its impact over time.

Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success to align on go-to-market strategy, messaging, and execution.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel demand generation strategies that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Ability to lead and oversee paid media, email marketing, content syndication, etc. collaborating with external agencies and internal teams to ensure successful execution of programs.
  • Strong understanding of lead scoring, funnel optimization, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Ops to align campaigns and strategy with business goals.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on analyzing campaign performance, pipeline attribution, and optimizing campaigns for efficiency and ROI.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage campaigns and track performance, although these are owned by Ops.
  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is not afraid to experiment, iterate, and test new approaches to drive growth.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to pivot based on new data and insights.
  • Ability to clearly articulate growth strategies to C-level stakeholders and manage communication across different functions.
