Marketing Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts. 

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute campaigns and events
• Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events
• Create compelling copy, visuals (optional), and content calendars to promote each article.
• Collaborate with writers and editors to align content marketing with publishing timelines.
• Track performance and suggest improvements for future campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media best practices.
• Experience with content marketing or growth strategies (portfolio or side projects welcome).
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Buffer, or Trello is a plus.
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail and data.
• Passion for BUILD IT’s mission to simplify complex research and make it accessible.
