Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in the field of social media marketing, including online engagement and/or guest services using multiple social platforms. Experience working with agencies, clients, or brands. This does not include time spent on your personal social media.
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills
- A knack for hospitality & guest service with a solutions-based approach
- A quick wit and the ability to come up with responses in real time
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow processes and protocols
- High computer competency, including proficiency with Google Docs and MS Office
- An open mind, respectful demeanor, and inclusive approach to engaging with communities with various interests, passions, and backgrounds
- Ability to quickly learn and understand best practices in established social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn & TikTok)
- Ability to learn and understand the impact of social media industry trends on client business needs including memes, hashtags, trending topics, and language of multiple generations (Millennial, Gen Y, Gen X, Boomer), and translate the impact of platform changes on client business
- Strong work ethic and a motivated self-starter with an understanding of the speed of change within the social media industry
- Experience with Influencer outreach is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time available)
Pay: $41,600.00 - $49,190.00 per year
