Position Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in implementing marketing campaigns to promote our science curriculum to schools, educators, and educational organizations. This fully remote position is ideal for a creative, organized, and results-oriented professional with a passion for education and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Execution:
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns that target educators, school administrators, and institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with company goals and product launches.
Content Development:
- Create, edit, and manage content for various channels, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Work with designers and content creators to develop engaging marketing materials.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email newsletters and targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and engage current customers.
- Monitor email performance and refine strategies for improved open and click-through rates.
Digital Marketing:
- Support the company’s presence on social media platforms by creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and growing online engagement.
- Optimize blog and website content for SEO.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using tools such as Google Analytics and other marketing platforms.
- Use insights to recommend adjustments and optimize campaigns for better results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the education or publishing sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as social media management platforms, email marketing software, graphic design software, and analytics tools.
- Experience with HubSpot, WordPress, and Canva.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.
- A passion for science education and understanding of the education market is a plus.
