Publicis Groupe [Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40] announced its agreement to acquire Lotame, marking a significant update on its AI strategy presented by Arthur Sadoun.
A global leader in data, identity, and technology, Lotame houses one of the largest end-to-end data marketplaces in the world. Its proprietary identity solution delivers consistent and relevant addressable audiences built on 100+ data sources and activated through more than 1.6 billion IDs. This enables over 4,000 leading brands and publishers to leverage data at scale and with precision.
The combined data and identity assets of Lotame and Publicis Groupe’s 2.3 billion global profiles will allow clients to reach 91% of adult internet users with personalized messaging at scale and enhanced accuracy. Specifically, Epsilon and Lotame will empower clients with:
- Expanded Global Identity: The combined footprint will expand Groupe’s unique profiles to almost 4 billion, covering over 90% of consumers worldwide, allowing marketers to engage their audience with greater accuracy.
- Talent and Expertise: Lotame’s 19 years of data expertise will drive global and local-market product development, supported by dedicated specialists.
- Regional Product Focus: Lotame will spearhead APAC and EMEA expansion for Epsilon, enhancing data connectivity for digital marketers.
Led by Founder and CEO Andy Monfried, Lotame will integrate into Epsilon, enhancing Publicis clients’ ability to deliver personalized marketing services at scale.

This acquisition is subject to customary conditions and is expected to close early in the second quarter of 2025.
