Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Financial/ Data Analyst to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling data from various sources (including Excel, CSV, SQL databases, and proprietary systems like Proclaim and Lead Docket), ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with key stakeholders to align data insights across departments. This role involves manual data manipulation, ensuring data consistency across platforms, and troubleshooting discrepancies in calculated data. Key Duties & Responsibilities Extract data from CSV files, Excel spreadsheets, SQL databases, and other data sources. Load and transform data into a centralized SQL database for reporting and analysis purposes. Work with stakeholders to perform regular data integrity checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data across all systems. Manual Data Manipulation & Reconciliation: Manually correlate settlement data provided for accurate case tracking. Confirm the integrity of data imported from data sources and address any discrepancies. Data Validation & Accuracy: Perform data validation to ensure accuracy in all data points across various platforms. Reconcile differences in how data is calculated between marketing teams and internal reports. Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in data calculation methodologies to ensure consistency. Data Updates & Maintenance: Regularly update data sets where necessary to reflect changes in settlements, cases, and client records. Ensure that all data is maintained and updated in compliance with organizational data standards. Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights on data inconsistencies Create reports and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders in an easily understandable format. Job Requirements Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business discipline Working experience 5+ years IT experience 5+ years of data analysis experience in technology, applications, or operations 5+ years SQL experience 5+ years Excel experience Strong written and verbal communication (English) Strong interpersonal and networking skills Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Required Skills Proficiency in SQL and experience in working with relational databases. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning techniques. Experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) from Excel, CSV, and SQL databases. Strong analytical skills with an eye for data accuracy and consistency. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies. Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure alignment in data calculations. Preferred Skills Experience working in legal or financial services, especially handling settlement data. Familiarity with marketing analytics and the ability to align marketing data with internal reports. Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
