What you’ll do

The Director of Growth will be responsible for driving demand creation, top-of-funnel acquisition, and pipeline growth across Synergy Pet Group’s key channels. This role directly oversees marketing generated growth for Brokers, the Vet Network, and Shepherd Software, while maintaining alignment between marketing and sales to deliver measurable results in lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.

As the leader of the demand creation, the Director of Growth will collaborate closely with sales, manage campaign performance, and support key go-to-market strategies for new campaigns and products. This role also requires expertise in analytics, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization to support marketing and product teams. The Director of Growth reports to the VP of Marketing and will initially manage the Event and Field Marketer, with potential for team expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Creation

  • Develop and oversee strategies for growth across Brokers, the Vet Network, and Shepherd Software.
  • Lead top-of-funnel acquisition through a mix of digital and offline channels, prioritizing methods based on performance and ROI.
  • Align demand generation efforts with sales and marketing goals to drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

2. Campaign Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to support the development and execution of campaigns. Provide expertise in demand generation to ensure alignment with brand goals.
  • Own the demand-side go-to-market strategies for new initiatives—provide strategic guidance with creative development in addition to channel and budget recommendations.
  • Support go-to-market efforts for new product lines in collaboration with marketing managers, the product teams, and sales teams.
  • Oversee testing and optimization strategies for campaigns, ensuring resonance with target audiences. Implement A/B testing and iterative improvements to achieve the best results.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoffs, alignment on SQL/MQL definitions, and campaign-driven sales enablement.

3. Analytics, Testing, and Optimization

  • Attribute and track performance metrics across all campaigns, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness and optimize budget allocation.
  • Lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimization initiatives to enhance campaign performance.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to refine analytics processes and develop dashboards for transparent, full-funnel reporting.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly manage the Event and Field Marketer, ensuring alignment with demand creation goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Advocate for team expansion as business needs grow, identifying additional resource needs where necessary.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the demand creation team.

5. Technology Management

  • Oversee analytics tools and platforms, ensuring the team leverages insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Maximize the use of HubSpot for CRM, marketing automation, and reporting, optimizing it to enhance funnel conversion and campaign tracking.

Key Metrics for Success

● Increased lead generation for brokers, vets, and Shepherd software.

● Improved MQL-to-SQL conversion rates and pipeline velocity.

● Positive ROI from digital and offline acquisition initiatives.

● Accurate, actionable reporting for full-funnel marketing performance.

● Successful execution of new campaigns and product launches.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

● 7+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

● Proven success managing both digital and offline acquisition strategies.

● Expertise in analytics, reporting, and conversion rate optimization.

● Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning marketing with sales teams.

● Proficiency in marketing tools such as HubSpot and analytics platforms.

● Experience managing and growing teams in fast-paced environments.
