Job Description

đź’ˇ Do you want to see a renewable powered world? Have a passion for beautiful, reliable, easy to-use-software?
⛰️ Orkestra is on a mission to help teams deploy new energy solutions to the world’s businesses.
🤹🏽 We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our global market growth!
About Us
Orkestra Technologies is a rapidly growing Australian-based software startup that is revolutionising how new energy projects are deployed. Our software helps salespeople and analysts selling commercial energy projects, such as solar, batteries, and electric vehicles, perform financial analysis and identify optimal solutions for business customers.
We have fast become the market leader in Australia, with most energy service companies and solar installers in the commercial and industrial sector in Australia and New Zealand using our software.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support the Head of Marketing as we launch our platform into new markets. The ideal candidate is a creative and driven marketing professional with experience in digital marketing, content creation, event management, and social media, ideally with some experience in the clean tech, B2B SaaS, or energy industries.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will assist with crafting and executing Orkestra’s global growth marketing strategy across digital platforms, events, content creation, and automation. You will work closely with the growth, sales, and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple channels.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving global technology startup making a real impact on the renewable energy industry. As part of a small, fast-growing team, you’ll have significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, with the chance to shape Orkestra’s marketing presence in Australia and across the world.
While we operate as a fully remote team, we pride ourselves on maintaining a fun, creative, and supportive culture. We’re looking for someone who can match our energy, bring fresh ideas, and match our love of slightly unhinged memes, puns and gif-reacts. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and want to make a tangible difference in the fight against climate change, this is the role for you.
About You
This role will suit you if you:
- Have at least 3 years B2B marketing experience, preferably in clean tech, SaaS, or the energy sector.
- Have a passion for sustainability and are eager to make a meaningful impact on climate change.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating and editing content across a range of mediums (blogs, emails, social media etc.)
- Have experience with marketing automation and project management tools (HubSpot experience is highly desirable).
- Are experienced in managing social media platforms and implementing content calendars.
- Have experience using various advertising platforms and tools such as Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Have some experience using design tools (Canva, Adobe, Figma or similar).
- Are comfortable managing both in-person and online events, including coordinating logistics, working with external vendors, and using or learning new platforms.
- Are highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing and working on multiple projects simultaneously across various teams and timezones.
- Are self-disciplined with a positive attitude. You manage your time well and have a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that is required at an early-stage startup. You’re willing to learn and ask questions to fill the gaps.
- Have a pragmatic get sh*t done attitude. You can resourcefully solve problems, and are comfortable with ambiguity and shifting deadlines.
- Are data-driven, with the ability to track, report, and optimise marketing initiatives based on performance metrics.
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are adaptable to shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be:
- Responsible for event management, including execution and logistics for expos, conferences, webinars, workshops and other industry events.
- Supporting content strategy and contributing to or leading the creation of marketing assets including blogs, newsletters, sales campaigns, advertising campaigns, emails and more.
- Responsible for managing and implementing the social media calendar across platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Supporting marketing campaign execution in conjunction with the Head of Marketing and Growth team.
- Supporting email marketing campaigns, from planning to execution, and analysing their effectiveness.
- Supporting the development and implementation of onboarding workflows and automated customer journeys to enhance the customer experience.
- Supporting digital marketing initiatives, including updating the website (Webflow) and running paid advertising campaigns (with direction from the Head of Marketing).
- Supporting the growth team in managing, maintaining and expanding HubSpot, including database updates, marketing automation workflows, and reporting.
- Supporting market research and reporting, including analysing customer data to assist with the ongoing refinement of our messaging and campaigns.
