At Back & Forth Mens Mental Health, we are dedicated to addressing the importance of men's mental health and the challenges men face in seeking support. We provide a supportive community for men to share their experiences, build strong connections, and promote overall well-being. Established in memory of Marc Forth, who tragically passed away in April 2023, our mission is to honor his legacy by helping men speak out and seek help. Our goal is even if we help just one person, our efforts will have been worth it.

Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Social Media Manager at Back & Forth Mens Mental Health. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating and scheduling content, optimizing social media platforms, and engaging with the community. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as monitoring social media accounts, responding to messages and comments, and analyzing social media metrics to enhance our online presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
• Strong Communication and Writing skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective Content Strategies
• Familiarity with mental health advocacy and support communities is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse groups
• Ability to work independently and remotely
